Mr. Shon Anderson was born and raised in Lumberton, NC on Feb 03, 1974. Shon accepted Christ at a young age and has been in church all of his life. He has always been involved in music and has sang in many choirs throughout his life.
When Shon graduated Lumberton Senior High School, he joined the United States Air Force and went on to serve for 20 years working on Ejection Seats mostly on the A-10 aircraft. He has served in numerous locations stateside and overseas including his time during 12 different deployments in support of the first Gulf War and Persian Gulf War.
Once retired from the military Shon and his family, Tamme and Kylie, moved back to Lumberton to be close to family and friends. After praying and listening to God, Shon and his family moved to East Lumberton Baptist Church in the winter of 2018. Immediately he felt the call to visit others and tell them about Christ. He visits on a regular basis with the pastor to encourage others and spread the good news of Christ. Shon also joined the choir and eventually accepted the position of Choir director and Worship leader.
Shon and his wife Tamme currently live in Lumberton, NC. They have a daughter that is still in the home named Kylie.
